Liked the decor and the service

Facilities were amazing

Staff are unprofessional and rude

The overall experience was very good. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. the room was fantastic. breackfast was also superb.

My wife suffers from allergies and something in our room triggered an attack, but I couldn't say what is was that caused the attack, so this may be a bit of an unfair comment.

Spacious rooms and bathrooms, breakfast was good

Breakfast tables were not properly set, no cups for coffee, no salt & pepper, no milk, we had to ask or get up and grab from other tables. Showers are dirty, dirt has accumulated on the sandstone tiles, please use a pressure gun( Karcher) to clean, it will take 5 minutes per bathroom. Poor light in bedroom, had to use a torch to see in the cupboard

The service is good and staff is very friendly.

They can upgrade their TV channels to cater for everybody.

Close to many facilities and areas of interest in Pretoria. It was also very safe and welcoming with good amenities, specifically the spa.

Housekeeping was “out of the office” and couldn’t help with blankets or other requests at about 11pm and breakfast does not cater for Halaal.

Breakfast was beyond expectations

Door handles not secured. No free supper. The amount of money was supposed to include supper.

Noisy generator. Near noisy road. Restaurant service slow because there was an event. Minor room maintenance issues.

I booked this Hotel for my children from the farm in KZN. They were there for the Mexican Fest. Location was perfect. The decor of the Hotel is beautiful. Rooms were clean. Beds very comfortable. They enjoyed their stay.

For people who come far I think they must maybe change the book in time to 14H00. Also, they were not informed of any breakfast or breakfast time. So, the missed breakfast :(

The Hotel shuttle, the driver was friendly, knew the area well. All staff was friendly even the cleaning ladies. The staff go out of their way to accommodate you and are professional at all time. I can highly recommend the salmon for dinner. I stayed at the hotel to write the Ielts test and it was convenient and much enjoyable. Thank you

All services are good when requested

staff are friendly only if I make the effort to greet first then they respond and return greeting. Some seem apprehensive but I say hello or greet they then respond. If I don’t greet some staff don’t say anything. This applies to all including management.

Ohh everything mncwaaa .everything was ok. Only that we had to stay for 1 night. Otherwise no complaints

Its an understatement, " like" i loved the place. Environment excellent, security by the gate ,wow. The reception, the room food hey. Im coming again with my kids around 20 June.cant wait

The location is very good and in an isolated area. The atmosphere is cool. A water feature at the entrance of the restaurant is good and the dim lights at night were good. The room was big enough and the lights inside were like theatre. I hooked into this hotel because the usual onr was fully booked. Now I've decided to make this one my usual one.

There's nothing to dislike there. It was a cold evening, but that's not arranged by the Hotel. A warmer in the restaurant could have made things better.

i like the central location

i felt the breakfast was limited in the variety of items. i think there could be better preperations made for halaal meals that wouldn't necessarily have to cost more. There were no face cloths in the bathroom and we had to request it for both evenings.

I asked them for a romantic setup and they went beyond my expectation on that one, I was really impressed at how they handled all our requests and the spa treatments were amazing

the bath was not 100% clean when we got there but I assumed it was just because most people don't really bath in a hotel, they mostly shower

Friendly & helpful staff.. clean & superb ambience with the water features & decor. Breakfast was ok & he catering staff were superb with my dietary needs ... well done Overall experience.. felt like home away from home

Staff (especially front desk) are incredibly unfriendly and impolite. It's for this reason we will never stay at the Royal Elephant again. Pity because otherwise a very nice hotel.

Wi-Fi was very poor and most of the time no connection. I changed my room 3 times during 2 nights because of Wi-Fi. Hotel not accept USD cash payment and need to pay in ZAR. reception told me that I have to change money in the Bank and when I told them that, I have no time to go to the bank. I suggest to give them the USD and they can change in the bank .their reply was that I have to pay for the taxi (200 ZAR)to change money . I accepted but in the next day when I checked what happened in the bank with the receptionist .they told me that the money was not enough to cover the rate in ZAR . and when I asked for money change receipt from the bank they told me that no one went to bank and they using xe currency for transfer but still charge me for the taxi. during check out they gave me a wrong invoice and when I discovered it . I contacted the reception through email to send me the right one but they didn't respond to my emails ( 4 emails with no respond) at the end I contacted booking and after the sent the right invoice. My experience with this hotel was very poor and I couldn't feel any value for money
